WORKER’S RE-CERTIFICATION ONLINE QUIZ Introduction: Thank you for your willingness to be a youth worker at Berean Baptist Church. As you should be aware, Berean Baptist Church requires all individuals interacting with youth to attend a video-training seminar once per year for certification. The initial training video is approximately 2 ˝ hours. Once you have completed the initial training, you are eligible for refresher training and re-certification. The re-certification video is approximately 30 minutes and can be completed annually to remain certified. In cases when the youth worker is very familiar with the church’s youth worker policy, this online quiz is a quick and simple way to let the church leadership know you are up to speed on policy. This online quiz is offered as an alternative to attending a re-certification video seminar. Privacy: All information you enter is confidential. All Berean’s youth worker files are confidential. All other forms and updates you give the church are kept confidential. Study & Preparation for the quiz: Any certified youth worker of Berean Baptist Church may obtain a small packet of study material prior to taking the quiz. Contact the church office by E-mail or click here to go directly to the Study Material. Requirements: Eighty-five percent correct. Should you fail to answer a minimum of 85% correct response required for re-certification, it may be necessary to attend video training for re-certification. You may take this online quiz as often as you wish. Extra Credit: As a certified youth worker at Berean Baptist Church you are required to reach a minimum of 85% correct answers to be re-certified for another year. Some questions have more than one correct answer and some questions require more than one correct answer. When answering any question, you may offer more correct answers than requested. In some instances you may receive extra credit. Answering: We want to know that you understand the issues facing Berean Baptist Church with regard to youth. When answering, express yourself fully and as explanatory as possible recording the depth of knowledge you have on the subject. Short answers are also acceptable. Updates: When you applied to be a youth worker at Berean Baptist Church, you filed an initial application. If all the information on that application remains correct, answer Question 30, "No". If your initial application information has changed, (ie: name, address, telephone, TDL number, arrest record, marital status, etc.) answer question 30, "Yes" and request a new application to complete your re-certification. IMPORTANT: Proper paperwork must be filed to remain certified. If you have some paperwork missing, you will be notified, please file all requested paperwork promptly. Results Notification: When finished answering, click “submit.” Your answers will be forwarded to Jeff Williams who will review your answers and notify you with your score as soon as possible.
