By the time one reaches age fifty many 9s have been added in the age record-- 19, 29, 39 49; thus the name PlentyNiners.

PlentyNiners. is a club made up of folks 49 years old or older.  Membership is not limited to members of any one Sunday School class.  Anyone meeting the age requirement is welcome; guests (visitors) are welcome, regardless of age.  The club meets on the third Saturday of each month for fellowship, games, a good meal and entertainment.

 Two exceptions to the meeting schedule:

1. In December the club meets together with The Soldiers of The Cross  Class on the second Saturday. 

2. In April, the meeting day is on Tuesday of the third  week.  The PlentyNiners provide the noon meal for the missionaries attending the Missions Conference.

There are always door prizes. 

The Crowder family, James (Jim) and Vivian, have been the sponsors, as well cooks for several years.  The hours they spend preparing for the meetings are innumerable.  Joan Cagle has been a faithful helper in preparing the meals.  There are others who pitch in to help make the meetings a success.  PlentyNiners. , Through the years,  have gained the enviable reputation of preparing luscious desserts.
