FORWARD

This book is not designed to be easy reading, as one would read a novel. Instead, it is a study book; hopefully a compliment to the Bible. Effort has been made here to set forth in a systematic, simple, and logical way some of the fundamental doctrines of the Bible. Every major Bible doctrine has not been considered; but those which we have deemed to be most essential to the faith. It is our sincere desire that this book be studied, and these truths be mastered by every reader.

We are grateful to God for the response to the first edition of this book. All original copies were gone in the first six months from publication. Since then, we have been endeavoring to publish this expanded edition. We felt these added chapters would be helpful; and since this edition is almost twice the size of edition one, obviously much work has been required to do it. Thanks to each one who has encouraged me to keep on until the job was done. I also appreciate reader help in getting the work circulated, especially the help of my fellow ministers. The Lord has certainly used this work to advantages I never suspected.
