For a long time, I have been intrigued with the beauty of this little book of the Bible. The more I've studied it, the more profound I have found its message to be. Though the story is ancient, the message is current.

The outlines contained here are a systematic study of Ruth. They do not attempt to cover every point that is suggested in the book. Instead, these outlines are designed to follow the logical flow of the book, and to show how each part is connected with all of the other parts. Very little mention of the prophetic theme is made in this outlined study. For a good consideration of that aspect of the truth of Ruth, I suggest that you study the Romance of Redemption, by the late M. R. DeHaan, M.D.

My sincere thanks to all of those who helped with the mechanics of putting this book together. Publishing a book is not a light and easy matter. That is particularly true when the book is in outline form, as this one is.
